Re: XnView does not resize image - version 2.25

That saves me reporting this issue as well :-) But I wonder if it is possible to have a look again on something related that I reported long ago already and which is still the case after so many years: the option hi-quality zoom works only in one monitor mode. I use 2 monitors with browser left and ...

Re: Fix EXIF data

Update to the Update: further investigation by Pierre revealed that the crashes on my systems were caused by the outdated Ghostscript that had been installed by Corel Draw X6 (GS 8.64). I updated to the current GS 9.15 and now not only get a complete view on pdfs within XnView, but also no crashes a...

Re: Fix EXIF data

Update: another related bug. If you have several of those Exif-stripped pics and XnView's browser is set to 'Sort by: Exif Date', then the Viewer (!) will crash on start-up. Obviously it doesn't know how to sort them in the background, but it shouldn't crash.

Mail sent to Pierre.

Re: Fix EXIF data

Ok, I used ExifTool plus ExifToolGUI and could easily restore the whole EXIF data because I always make more than one photo, so 'Copy Metadata from Single File' worked for me. Also ExifTooll obviously allows me to add or edit the date alone. The remaining question is why 'Change Timestamp' fails wri...

Fix EXIF data

Hello, I am suffering from the latest Apple nonsense - editing photos directly on the iOS device, like a simple rotation, destroys the EXIF data: http://www.reddit.com/r/apple/comments/2igf5s/warning_edited_photos_in_ios_8_lose_all_metadata/ Now the EXIF tab on those photos only has four entries: Ca...

Re: Show visual difference between original and encoded imag

Me too. Right now I use RIOT to 'compress' (reduce in size) pics, which at least has a side by side comparison. But the above options are much better.

Re: Change Timestamps fails after file without exif date

I sent you a mail and test project. I also checked again - the files are not set to a wrong date, they are indeed untouched, means not processed at all.

Change Timestamps fails after file without exif date

As the title says. My typical workflow is to copy all photos from the iOS device to the Windows computer, then batch process their size/resolution, then change timestamps with all files at once. CT is used with Exif date as reference to set everything else. Now there are 50 photos. The first 10 are ...
