I'm glad that XnView tries to use the explorer standards for drag&drop within the browser window, but somehow there's still confusing differences:
- When dragging an icon into a folder, the default action is "move", like in MS explorer, with an option to use "copy" when holding down the ctrl ...

I thought I'd contribute some minor suggestions that came up to my mind the last couple of weeks. ^^
- Thumbnail View: If "Show hidden files and folders" is turned off, also ignore hidden files when creating the folder thumbnails. It's inconsistent the way it is now.

Related to the bug report about cbz, i collected the things that might be neccessairy to get XnView to handle CBZ/CBR files properly. I guess it's low priority, but in case it's ever tackled, maybe this list makes it easier to find the points that need addressing.

CBZ is recognized as archive in xnview
I see. So XnView recognizes archives not from the file name extension but from file structure. But at the same time, when producing the thumbnail, it thinks that the uncompressed zip file is a jpeg file, when the first image happens to be a jpeg.

1. With the present version of XnView, the settings in "Open action (Browser)" are ignored with *.cbz file types. I've set all my opening actions to "Open in associated program". But when double clicking a *.cbz file, it instead shows in XnView's internal viewer. Only when using F3 it opens ...
