Thanks for your reply, that's the solution! Image quality is now the same as in ACDSee!
I couldn't find this setting because my interface language is Dutch.....

XnView is a great program and it could be The Best if the image quality in viewing mode would be of the same high level as ACDSee.
Images viewed with ACDSee look a lot better and I was wondering if this would be possible in future releases of XnView without the loss of the high speed XnView ...

I would like to know how to change the background and text colors in the tree view window of directories in the latest version of XnView 1.93.6
I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium and can't find how to do this in the options menu.
