PgUp/PgDn is the only way to get Next/Previous in full-screen mode. Can we also have Space/Backspace?
Also Linux version 0.88 ignores user global setting for OS window background color. Bright-white hurts the eyes, especially in treeview panel. Thumbnail background color would be OK.

Re: App background colors
Thanks Pierre, it's fixed in version 0.79 x64 Linux

Maintaining several versions on different platforms would make my brain explode. I might even have bad dreams at night.

Re: App background colors
The previous screen shot above was 0.76.1 in Mint 17.x + Qt5.
This is 0.72 x64 in Mint 13 with Qt4. It uses correct system/profile controls, scrollbars, titlebars, same size fonts, window background colors, etc., except it uses a smaller size cursor. numlock+/ and * works, though I've always wanted ...

Re: App background colors
Same problem in Mint 17. App is using its own controls/widgets and ignoring theme settings.
You should be able to at least emulate font sizes, background colors and mouse/cursor size by fetching user-profile settings.
I'd be happy to email you a screenshot.

Re: App background colors
That makes sense, I'm on Qt4. If I installed the Qt5 SDK your API would probably work as designed.

Re: App background colors
Hi Pierre, I switched back to 0.72 so I can't do screenshot of 0.76
Window backgrounds were bright white, except thumbnails where I had set my own. Fonts were different sizes too, menu, forms, etc., mostly too small. Some other settings went to default.
Now I have "check for updates" = never ...

Re: App background colors
Thank you. It was simpler to go back to previous version 0.72, I still had a download copy in my laptop.

App background colors
Background colors in treeview, thumbnails & settings windows do not respect user color settings (Preview window does). It's bright-white, hurts the eyes.

Re: XnViewMp 0.68 : There is a problem to update database Er
Same problem with Linux Mint (based on 12.04.4 LTS Precise) going from .64 to .68
Creates several XnView-2014_05_18_15_46_29.db then app crashes.
Solved the problem by deleting/renaming XnView.db and Thumb.db in folder ~/.xnviewmp
If it helps my Thumb.db was 850MB

Re: Restore from maximized mode issue
This appears to be the same problem as I posted in a new thread a few days ago:
http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=28510
I also posted to another existing thread sometime last year, on the same bug.
Form_resize events can be a pain, especially multi-platform

MP 0.61 Linux - Main form resize problem
Main form resize event still not working with app maximized, same problem as 0.56
Closing maximized app, reopens with treeview at default, i.e. too small.
Works OK when main app window is restored/unmaximized.

0.51 xnview prevents OS suspend S3
xnview crashes or becomes non-responsive, when accessing files on network shares, and user has to terminate app. After that, system will not suspend S3, even prevents reboot (see attached).
