Hello,
I can confirm this, I just posted a message in the section MP Bugs:
http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=32690
It probably has something to do with changing the way the file name is displayed.

0.78 Image size (WxH) in status bar disappeared?
Hello,
I just installed version 0.78, and opened an image file to check request no. 490 (full file name displayed in status bar). The file name is displayed all right now after adding the line "maxCharsFilename=999" in the settings file. This is very good, thank you. :D

Re: MP- Add a way to Clear all blank categories-db managemen
Thumbs up if metadata of files in "excluded folders" is not added to the db, or their keywords to the category list
I'd support this fully!
And I'd add what I did ask some time ago: a way o exclude not only folders, but also file types (i.e. file extensions). My DB is now full of all kinds of ...

Re: o.76.1 Edit IPTC multiple files -1. file displays nothin
Hi Pierre,
now that you asked, I took a look again. Yes, Clear all fields was activated. I did uncheck it, and now the data is displayed on all files. I guess I never changed the check box "Clear all fields", never even bothered about it since I use Xnview (first Classic, now MP), which is quite ...

o.76.1 Edit IPTC multiple files -1. file displays nothing
Hi all,
if you open mutiple files already having IPTC data for IPTC editing, the first file displays blank fields on all tabs. At first I thought, the data really disappeared, but after playing with it, filling and re-filling, I discovered it's only a display problem (a very confusing one :evil ...

Wishlist: Exclude file types from database
Hi,
I'd like very much being able to exclude (or explicitly include) certain files types from being loaded in the database, not only certain folders. I know there's the user defined filter for the file list, but that is something slightly different. I'm thinking for ex about the jpg_original files ...

Prevent duplicate/orphaned entries in category.db
Hi,
first a big THANKS for Pierre, I've been using XnView since couple of years now, and it's still my absolute favorite. :P
Now to my wish: It would be good if XnView would prevent creating duplicate entries in the category db. I.e. the same image in the same location appearing twice in the same ...

Hi Pierre,
it's just as you guessed. I edited 8 or 9 images as described and saved them in another folder, not the one displayed in XnView. No crash. Then I edited 2 images, and saved them in the same folder, and Xnview crashed on the 2nd.
Another thing: this seems to be something basic in the new ...

1.94.2 - Crash when saving image in PSP
Hi,
first of all I'd like to thank you for this excellent piece of software. After trying many others (couple of well-known non-freeware also), I found this is the perfect tool for me. :D :D :D
