XnView Software

Copy & Paste is really important using XnView.
To put the pasted picture at any position I want would be a important inprovement.
The possibility to change the size after pasting would be much better.

I inserted the following settings in the view chapter (CheckerColor1,CheckerColor2,CheckerSize), but I could not see any changes.

Is there any possibility to enlage the little sqares at the edges and in the middle of the lines in the selection or to change the color of lines and sqares?
Sometimes it is very difficult to find and hit the squares and change the size of the selection (vs. Gimp).

It would be nice if it were possible to change brightness and contrast in F11 fullscreen mode.

For example:
- left mouse key: panning (i.e. drag to move within the picture, if clipped)
- scroll function: zooming in / out
- right mouse key: press while moving (up,down) / (left,right) for changing ...

the entries are added in the 1.97-ß1 and seem to work

Sorry, but I cannot find the 1.97-ß1 version in the download aerea of http://www.xnview.com/de/.
How can I get the ß-version?

I didn't know the feature to save images as PDF with XnView.
Unfortunately I could not save the PNG file as PDF, I had to convert it in JPG first.
Now I can tile the PDFs also with my favorite PDF viewer "PDF XChange Viewer", free version.
PDF-Tiler changes the sides, it brings last ...

I would really like (and need) the possibility to split large pictures.
Nobody else?

There are only 10 files in the list "recent files".
Is it possible to enlarge the list to 40 or 50 files?

If I have a long and small picture and want to print it, I miss the possibility to distribute the picture on 2 or more pages. Up to now I can only print with one pic per page. I can print the picture not so that I can read the text.

The bug persists.

Here is a new screenshot:
I open the first pic with RETURN. SAVE AS with new name, appending "k" at the end.
Klick on the arrow next picture, the saved pic is on the screen with the over-next pic. Saving this pic with SAVE AS and appending "k" - i get another pic with the name of ...

I get always the same problem again:

Sort by filename.
Modify the aktual file pic1.jpg in gray mode and save as pic1_gray.jpg, changing the showed filename pic.jpg into pic1_gray.jpg).
I cannot select a filename because i have to create a new file. No autocomplete function.

I modify a picture (pic.jpg) und save it with a new name (pic_m.jpg).
Then klicking on "next file" will show the file after the next (new!) file (pict.jpg), but the title of the picture in the headline ist the title of the next (new) file (pic_m.jpg). If I modify this file (pict.jpg) too and save it ...
