you have folderColor1-5 (xnview.ini) to change color of folder background


I tried changing the colors, but it didn't seem to have any effect.

My .ini file is at

~/.config/xnviewmp/xnview.ini

I stopped XnView, then modified all the values by dividing them by 4:

folderColor1=64 64 42 ...

Yes a shortcut to cycle the focus between the thumbnail view and any of the panels that are currently visible. Configurable shortcut with F6 and Shift-F6 as the defaults for moving to next/previous would be perfect. Also, as previous poster mentioned ...

It is now 5 years later, and there has been no improvement on this, as far as I can tell. It's just a very strange shortcoming in an otherwise very powerful program.

Using -raw_autobright -raw_autobalance makes a huge difference. The converted JPEG now looks almost exactly like the NEF (when displaying both in XnView). The JPEG is just very slightly more blue than the NEF. The difference on ...

The NEF is the good one.

XnView displays NEF with the same colors as Photoshop does when converting with the NEF importer at all default settings (White Balance: As Shot).

So the problem appears to be in the defaults ...

I'm using Windows 7.

I have this same problem, using NConvert 6.01.

When I open a RAW (NEF) file in XNView, the colors are very different from when I convert the same RAW file to JPG using NConvert and view the resulting JPG in XNView.

The command line I used was:

nconvert -out "jpeg" -q 90 -high_res -o DSC_3945.JPG ...
