'X' to close tabs
The tabs should have a little X to close them. ESC key is nice, but sometimes I want to use the mouse (without going through context menu).

Grab image when in zoom
During the viewing of a portion of an image in zoom mode, clicking tle left mouse button together with the shift or alt button should grab and move around the viewing frame within the image. This avoids going back and forth to the scroll bars to do that.

Zoom in on the marked (selected) area
I suggest that, when an area is marked (selected) on a viewed image, the zoom-in (mouse wheel or plus key) should always center into the marked zone. I especially would find this beneficial while removing red eyes: I could select the person's head, zoom in, and the remove the read eyes.
