why not run the linux version instead of getting the (very) busy author to fix wine problems in the win version?
See my other post in the .012 forum. I like the Linux version, but the drag and drop file feature is why I wanted to use it, and that feature does not yet work in the Linux version ...

You go on option dialog, and quit after? Which panel of options?
Actually, it doesn't matter which options. In fact, simply starting xnview up under wine, then exiting immediately shows the memory fault I posted above. My point about the options was that the memory fault is probably occurring ...

1.96 memory fault on exit when running under wine
Hi folks,
Quite a few of the options don't seem to save (window position, thumbnail data, layout). In addition, when exiting the program, I get a memory fault. This may very well be the reason that the options are not saved. Here's the crash info:

Out of all these issues, the drag and drop to move photos around is the one that bothers me the most. Does everyone have the same problem in Linux? I tried XnView on Ubuntu Hardy (8.04.2) as well, and the drag and drop doesn't work there, either. Can anyone confirm that it works in any Linux? Or, is ...
