In XnView MP, there seems to be no setting for sharpening the preview of images resized to fit to the window.
There's no option "Use sharpen" under Tools > Settings > View as in XnView Classic.

Layout: Position of divider not remembered when resizing window
If you resize the XnViewMP window (maximize / restore it) in layout 2 mode, the width of the thumbnail pane is not remembered (see screenshots).
Also, when you reduce the size of the XnViewMP window, first the width of the thumbnail pane is reduced, then the width of the preview pane. In XnView ...

1.90: Minor: Categories Pane
Every time you open the Categories Pane, it is scrolled down first (if the pane is not big enough to show the whole tree).

Camera RAW white balance settings
I'd prefer radio buttons over checkboxes for the white balance in the camera RAW reading settings of the options dialog.
You can't use automatic white balance and camera white balance together. And what if no white balance option is enabled?

This is known issue. See Pierre's answer here.
There's also a standalone version of PTLens. Unfortunately it's no longer freeware but perhaps you'll find an earlier freeware version somewhere on the web.

Re: B6: Wrong EXIF values for CRW files
Strange.... :?
PS has its quirks, but I think, here it is right.
The thumbnail files (.THM) have the same values as the PS conversions. But when I did the conversion, the CRW file was not in the same directory as the THM, so PS couldn't base its conversion upon the THM data.

I uploaded the files to another provider and changed the links in the original post. So it should work again...xnview wrote: The files are no more here

Color labels menu
I'd wish you to add the color label names ("Important", ... , "Later") to the menu item "View > Rating&Color label" instead of the numbers only. One could easily forget what the numbers stand for.

Wrong EXIF values for CRW files
The Shutter Speed and Exposure Time values seem to be miscalculated for (Canon) camera raw files in XnView beta 6.
Examples:
Example 1 , converted by Photoshop (Exposure Time = 1/200)
and the original CRW file (Exposure Time in XnView = 1/189).
Example 2 , converted by Photoshop (Exposure ...

B6: Minor: Adding favorites
If you add a favorite via the context menu in the favorite pane, XnView doesn't add a backslash to the favorite's dictory entry in the bookmark.ini. ("New favorite"*"X:\Directory" instead of "New favorite"*"X:\Directory\")
So XnView will show tis entry as a folder <New> (or whatever you named it ...

Re: 1.82.4: Minor: EXIF Bug(s)
@xnview:
(1) I see you decided to go for the interpreted value.
But you still use both concepts.
In JPEGs, you use the interpreted value for shutter speed,
in camera raw files (at least .CRW) you use the APEX value.
(2) There's also an error in exposure time calculation for camera raw files as ...

Maybe you'd better use the print setup dialog box than the print property sheet.xnview wrote:Ok, i'll search

Re: 1.82.2: Minor: EXIF Bug(s)
After I exchanged some mails with Pierre, I re-thought about the shutter speed value problem:
(1) According the EXIF specifications ( http://www.exif.org/Exif2-2.PDF , Annex C), "shutter speed" is not the same as "exposure time". It is a logarithmic value used for camera internal exposure ...
