Re: Maximum file size/pixel dimensions
Aha - now it is obvious!
Thanks for making that clear. Yes, one more digit would be VERY helpful.

Re: Maximum file size/pixel dimensions
I didn't even see that option, so I haven't changed it. Both fields read 999999kb. What should the settings on this screen be?

Maximum file size/pixel dimensions
Hi,
I've noticed some of my images that are larger than 1GB don't get thumbnails created. Is there a maximum file size and/or pixel dimension limit in XnView? For instance, one of my images is 1.45GB in size, with pixel dimensions of 20,201 x 6480.
Thanks,
Mark

I think you might find this post helpful:

I have an external drive that I synch with an internal one. It's a question of setting the options to have all db files moved/copied, I think.

Print Contact Sheet of Category
Another newbie question here. (I feel bad that for some reason, I don't seem to be able to search the archives, which is why I keep posting these questions.)
Now that I've set up categories, (and been shown how to change where that db is stored for portability), I'd like to print contact sheets of ...

Portable XnView.db
I use an external hard drive with copies of all my images so that at lunch when I'm at my day job, I can look up and work on images. Then I synchronize the external drive with my internal drive at home. (I use Beyond Compare 2, which works great). What I noticed is that after launching XnView, I don ...

Make thumbnails of entire drive
Hi - I just started using XnView today, and so far am VERY impressed. Is there a way to have it create thumbnails for all images on a drive without having to go to each folder? (I tried searching for this in the discussion board, but am having trouble with searches. No matter what I type, it says ...
