I see the same bug with XnViewMP 1.5.5 on MacOS 12.6.5 Monterey. Steps to Reproduce: 1. set View > Auto image size > "Fit image to window, large only" 2. open an image 3. zoom in 4. select View > Lock Zoom 5. press Page Down to go to 2nd image (zoom stays locked) 6. press Page Down to go to 3rd imag...

Re: 1.4.5 Title Bar does not show correct info initially
I do not see this bug anymore in XnViewMP 1.5.5 (on MacOS 12.6.5 Monterey). So I think this can be closed.

Steps to reproduce: 1. Set Preferences/Settings > View > Title bar: {Filename With Ext} 2. Open XnViewMP browser mode. 3. Press "ENTER" to open an image in Viewer mode. 4. videos don't show in viewer mode
I'm a longtime XnView Classic user, trying out XnViewMP. I'm having trouble getting videos to show up in Viewer mode (in a tab). Videos play fine in Preview or Fullscreen. Here's the methods I've tried, starting from Browser mode with a list of files in the folder: 1. Press ENTER or double click on ...

MP 0.31 on Win 7 questions
Longtime xnview user, but new to MP; I started trying MP out for the unicode support. I played around with it, searched in the forums for some answers, and have these questions: 1. Lock Zoom: I can only get it to work when I set Auto Image Size = No Fit. It doesn't seem to work in my usual mode "Fit...

Re: corrupted image when switch to Browser mode while saving
I upgraded to 1.97.6, hoping this was fixed, but it's not. In fact, I lost an image due to this bug!
Can we please make this a high priority fix as it results in permanent data loss? XnView is by far my favorite image viewer/editor, but I don't think I can continue using it if I keep losing data.

Re: Rotate failed
@BrokenAutoImageSize: Changing that setting works. Interesting.
@Marsh: The EXIF orientation was not incorrect. I took a "portrait" photo, which my camera marked correctly as "right-top (6)". I already had the setting off: General [ ]Rotate images according to exif orientation flag.

Re: Rotate failed
I get the same exact behavior in XnView 1.97.6, running on XP SP3. Here is how to reproduce: XnView settings: general > operations: uncheck "Rotate images according to EXIF orientation tag" browser > misc: uncheck "Change EXIF orientation ONLY when possible (JPEG)" browser > misc: check "Use lossles...

Re: "Must fixes" for next release
This bug should qualify as a "must fix" because it involves image data loss. Multiple users have confirmed the bug. 1. In Viewer mode, press "ctrl+s" to save a large image (e.g. 10+ megapixel jpeg) 2. Click "yes" to overwrite 3. Quickly press "enter" during the save to go to Browser mode 4. Open the...
