Re: How do I open SVG files and convert to PNG

Re: How do I open SVG files and convert to PNG
Thanks for pointing me to the CS Manager - Ive installed this into the plugins folder and can run it and set the import size, however no matter what I do Xnview always produces a 466x466 size image. What am I doing wrong?
thanks!

Re: Adding Text: EXIF data?
Thanks very much
Yes, I had the -text option last (been caught out with that before!). But Im guessing it looks like that is yet to be implemented in nconvert although that post was a few years ago
Thanks

Adding Text: EXIF data?
Hi
Following from my last post I cant seem to get nconvert to add text from the EXIF data. I have tried the following and lots of variations on it (including $EXIF) but with no luck. Has anyone got this working?
thanks
mike
-text 'Day 01: {EXIF:Date [H:M]}'

Re: Adding Text: Command line??
Thats got me nearly to the end! The font, color and positioning all work (for fonts with spaces in the names you need to put them in quotations).
Final thing then.... the EXIF data dont seem to be supported (it is in xnconvert as well as classic as Ive used it in both).
Thanks for the help!!

Re: Adding Text: Command line??
Thanks for the nudge there - helped me experiment further and got the export to nconvert to work (i.e. it didnt crash). This was what it gave me nconvert -out jpeg -text_font MS Shell Dlg 2 32 -text_color 32 255 0 -text_back 127 0 0 -text_flag top-left -text_pos 10 240 -text_rotation 0 -text "{EXIF:...

Adding Text: Command line??
Hi I wanted to add some EXIF data as text to an image, something I have done in xnconvert. I then tried to export as an nconvert command and it crashed. The following command *donest* work but Im not sure what the exact syntax should be from the helpfile: ..\nconvert -out jpeg -text_string 'Day 01: ...

Setting transparency
Hi I have a limited pallete PNG with a black object on whitebackground (254 254 252) which I would like to be transparent. Ive tried this command nconvert -colors 256 -transpcolor 254 254 252 -resize 150 150 GOPR3908.png which works in xnview (following those steps), but doesnt set the transparent c...

Batch watermarks??
Hi
I have a series of photos each with a *different* overlay for them. I can add a watermark to a photo but this uses the same image each time.
Can I specify a different image for each watermark overlay?
thanks
mike

Watermark error with wmpos
Hi I've tried this command nconvert -out jpeg -wmfile overlay\GOPR3908.jpg -wmflag bottom-right -o final\atest GOPR3908.jpg which adds a watermark overlay to an image and saves it in another directory. However no matter what I change for wmflag or use wmpos it *always* places the overlay in the top ...

Add Text: more granular positioning
For the "Add Text" batch function is it possible to add a specification for:
1. justification
2. a handle for positioning (ie if you specify a position of 50,350 then you can use the bottom left handle of the text box)
Thanks!

Batch Overlay
Hi Ive been creating a timelapse of images taken a day apart in batch processing, and subsequently using mencoder to convert to an MJPEG. Ive used the auto contrast and levels, and then added the date (using the fields in add text) from the EXIF data. This works great and I just wondered if this cou...
