Here is a very simple Website.
I have all the code integrated in the html. You can use it, but it is javascript
Just click right on the background of the site and choose "source code"
Perhaps this javascript-code ...

If I generate (create) a dia-show-website four problems occure:

1. In start-position in Default-Frame Modus the frame that shows the picture is empty instead of showing the first picture.
I solved the problem, by writing the src-adress of the first html into the index.html, where there is none ...

I had this problem as well with thunderbird.
At least it helped to set outlook as my default mail-programm, close it, then start thunderbird, set it as default mail-programm and close it.
Now it works.
