The Dutch translations of XnViewMP and XnView Classic are (by and large) consistent.

It appears to me that the Batch Rename tool is missing the "Sort" option.
In XnView (classic) I frequently applied the sort option to have the files sorted by EXIF Date before renaming and numbering.
This option is no longer available, Or should I do the sorting beforehand in the Explorer and THEN ...

I did another experiment and there's definitely something off.
Take for instance attached screenshot.
If you open the file in yet another paint app, then you can determine that cropping the XnViewMP window will require the following crop values:
Top: 56
Bottom: 129
Left: 112
Right: 107

I was - of course - experimenting a bit with the crop values
I set some values, I clicked the update button bar in the middle and used the zoom function on the right to check if the desired effect was obtained.
In this process, the crop preview wanders off, displaying more cropping than will be ...

I have a Windows 8 - 64-bit desktop-PC with a Canon Pixma MG5250 Multifunction printer/scanner that is connected via the (WiFi) network.

On this W8/64-bit PC, nothing happens when I click the menu entry "Select TWAIN source".
The menu is not greyed out, so must assume that XnViewMP somehow is aware ...

I created a series of screenshots (full screen, Winkey-PrtScn) that obviously needed te be cropped afterwards.
The following problem occurs in XnViewMP 0.56 (on W8/x64).
I select the images
I start the function "Batch Convert"
I select the action "Crop"
Initially the crop preview on the right shows ...

I would be against seperate lanuage sections and rather see the threads in different languages to appear in one single forum.
If I don't understand it, I'll just skip it. (Easy ;-) )
If I do understand it, then maybe there's something useful in it for me... and I might even be tempted add my few ...

Vernieuwde Nederlandse vertaling is nu opgenomen in v0.56 van XnViewMP.
Interim updates worden hier geplaatst.
Pak het bestand uit de ZIP en kopieer het naar de map C:\Program Files\XnViewMP\language, resp. C:\Program Files\XnConvert\language.
Suggesties voor verbetering zijn welkom.
