Re: New category "People"
Excuse me, People, its a rather popular category for many photographers! When you have a lot of individuals or competitors then facial recognition software will populate these categories, however there is a wide range of "Areas" that have been defined in the XMP standards for quite a while! Best to ...

Display MWG-Regions and names on image
Would it be possible to display all mwg-rs & MP Region information as an enclosing box along with any associated name(s) on the image.
At present the various region information is shown under the XMP information tab but not displayed on the image itself.

Re: recognizing faces and people
I have to agree, there are too many programs that try to be everything to everybody rather than concentrating on there particular area.
Will be very happy to see a viewer, that can handle all they types of metadata along with the means of selecting what images are to be shown from the metadata itself.

Re: recognizing faces and people
Face detection and recognition is difficult, but XnView could simply start with reading these schemas (MS People Tags, MWG Regions, and IPTC Person Shown), and listing the People Names similarly as "tags" for search. Re: File size limits in Panorama ?
OK, is the disappearing window normal behaviour then for this situation ? I've only been using the package for a week or two, I assumed I had missed some parameter out.

File size limits in Panorama ?
Can anyone advise me if I am hitting a limit or what the problem might be please. I am looking to combine 4 slices of a large image back together, in my first attempt all worked well, each TIF file was 5132x10264 Pixels, the final file being 20528x10264, and as I say this was created no problem, I t...
