Thanks for the idea. I tried installing the new GS version, and things are better and worse. LOL
The good news is that I can open _some_ folders with some PDF files, but unfortunately not _all_ folders.
The bad news is that the PDFs don't display properly. If I use F3 to open them in PDF-Xchange ...

Hi all,
I recently changed from Vista to Windows 7, and now everytime I open XnviewMP or Xnview, it crashes. I am using the latest version of both programs.
The crash reports all say the fault module is gsdll32.dll. When I uninstall Ghostscript (version 854 32 bit AFPL ghostscript), things are ...

Re: xnview crashes when PDFs are large
Oh, sorry, I should have mentioned that both AFPL and GPL are installed. The smaller PDFs will display fine, but if the larger ones are in the directory, Xnview stops working.
But I discovered a strange thing since I posted. I don't have this problem on my laptop.

I have just recently enabled the option to show thumbnails of PDF files. But some of my PDF files are large, say, over 8 mb, and Xnview crashes when it tries to load these files. It does fine if I remove all PDFs that are over about 6 mb.
I have the latest Xnview version (1.97.6) and Vista ...
