Sorry, I can't reproduce this problem without having Forte Agent installed. I'm sure this is combination of Forte Agent and XnView, Forte Agent is locking on to a folder and XnView is crashing on accessing this folder.
Then why doesn't it crash when in any other view? Still as you say it may be a ...

Re: Bug when adding files to a directory and viewing such
Can you give a clearer step-by-step run down of what you are doing?
I'll either already have Xnview opened to a particular folder
(O:\Photos\FooBar) for instance, and having Agent opened will save the attachments (highlight and press "A") to the particular folder (O:\Photos\FooBar). At that ...

Bug when adding files to a directory and viewing such
:bug:
Using Agent as my news reader I will sometimes launch a pic individually and have no problem with such. The problem (crash) arises when I have a directory opened in Xnview and add files to it. It usually only happens with alot of files added, not a few, what that magic number is I don't know ...

Re: m3u file list support
But the main reason why I want it is that if you'll save images to sld, you (or your friends, family - in other country maybe) can open it only with xnview, m3u could open everyone (with WMP).
...
That goes with the assumption that everyone has a player that can support M3U .
Yes, WMP, old or new ...

Re: m3u file list support
While I love Xnview and like the ability to be able to do batch renames for any file type. I think that it needs to be graphic oriented and not play audio files, or perhaps have a new proggie: XnHear. I primarily have the Images filter set and as far as video clips and sounds, I have both boxes ...

Re: Export options to *.reg file
I've got an idea - export options to *.reg file.
There are many problems with an ini file, so using *.reg file would be good solution.
Users could save/export options very easy through menu (or even a toolbar button).
Example:
If I use registry to save options (because of speed) and I need to ...

Re: m3u file list support
Save file list (and slide show?) to m3u too and add support for m3u files / ability to open m3u files with video, audio and image files.
Also add 'Save as m3u' to menu (add selected images to dialog box with ability to add more images/folders - like in slide show)
Why m3u ? :

Re: Selective content in file listing
When I make a listing of image files, I'd like to be able to list filename and breadth and height (in pixels), only and leave out the rest.
Just an idea for the future maybe.
Bart
A work around possibly would be to rename the files with those attributes via batch rename, then do the listing ...

Re: Batch rename (again)
I can't figure out how to delete numbers in the interior of filenames and still retain the rest of the names.
For example, how do I change 200410 PICT2233_0005 marilyn and 200410 PICT2234_0006 joan, etc. to read 200410 PICT2233 marilyn and 200410 PICT2234 joan, etc. I want to delete only those ...

Suggestion: Search for wallpapers
One of my tools for wallpapers (management or creation) is Xnview, along with MSPaint via the OpenWith feature. While one can go directory by directory and sort via the details view the pics and choose/move the desired ones, it would be nice to be able to search for the pics according to a ...

Suggestion: Bookmarks available first
At present, if I want to go to a specific folder, I either have to hope that the folder is in my MRU or launch the browser, either via Xnview, or the right-click browse option.
It would be nice to be able to choose which bookmark first without having to open the browser.
