XnView Software

When I dbl click an image from Explorer I get a 2nd copy of XnView with a single tab in it. I can't figure out how to get the 2nd image to open as a new tab in the instance of XnView that's already open. I've tried with the 'Only one view opened' enabled and disabled but the behavior is the same ...

I'm going to screw around with the orientation and exif info to see if I can figure this out. I at least want to get the thumbnail and image on the same page.

Thanks for the quick reply. That makes sense since all of my images have the first and last icon. The rotation one confuses me though.

I have about 6 images that were taken with the camera at a 90% angle. Even though none of the thumbnails are rotated the preview pane shows them rotated properly ...

Can anyone explain what these icons are on my thumbnails?

I assume it's from the Show info icons (EXIF/IPTC/Shortcut) option but I still can't find any info on them in the help or forums.
