Hopefully it utilizes the feature i'm talking about, because that would be awesome.
That'd be a step in the right direction but it would still be tedious to have to sort my folders and pics and then sort them again in XnView. Hopefully this new one works out well! I'll definitely be looking forward ...

There is no way to tell it to basically scroll through the files as they are in my windows folder.

Nevermind, I found it.
Options -> View -> MISC, and i unchecked "play sound" and "Play movie".

I like XNview as a picture viewer, not a video player.
