All the sliders in program match. Down=right. Looking at it in terms of clockwise vs. numbers.
It doesn't make sense to look at it in terms of "clockwise", since going clockwise around a clock (which leads to increasing numbers) results in moving in every direction (right, down, left, and up).

Re: JPEG quality slider moves the wrong way on keyboard input
Oh, I see what you're saying now. Really? That's very odd, considering that I've used other slider controls in Windows that didn't work that way...

Re: JPEG quality slider moves the wrong way on keyboard input

I can't change it, it's the standard behavior of this windows control :-)

"Save changed file" dialog should be tightened up
The "Save changed file" dialog is a bit sloppy right now and could use some tightening up. Here's what I've noticed:
The dialog is too tall. Notice the large empty space between the question at the top and the "Never ask again" text.
The dialog is too wide. The 3 buttons have way too much space in ...

Keyboard shortcut in menu is not aligned correctly
Open an image file for editing, then open Image → Adjust. You'll notice that the keyboard shortcut ("Shift+E") for the first entry is not right-justified as it should be. I am seeing this with 1.96.5.

Re: JPEG quality slider moves the wrong way on keyboard input
Sliders' value increases by pressing "Down" this is Windows standard.
Are you sure this is true? I just tried it out and I'm not seeing that behavior. Open Control Panel → Sounds and Audio Devices and you'll see a horizontal slider. If you press Down while the focus is on the slider, it moves to ...

Menu icons are missing or broken when using XP-style menus
Here's how I've been able to repro the problem:
Enable XP-style menus (and restart).
Open an image in full viewing/editing mode.
Open the View menu.
Move the mouse over to the Image menu, then back to the View menu.
Repeat step 4 over and over.

Paint (1.06) doesn't support transparent PNG's
If you use the Paint filter (1.06) to add a watermark to an image and you select a transparent PNG, the watermark image does not show up as transparent.
