no, it's not possible. We use nconvert because it's a command line program - so we can launch it with java / php / .Net...

Ok, the help (nconvert -help) is wrong :
-cmyk_cspace : Convert if possible in CMYK space
The correct one is :
-cmyk_space (without the "c" letter)
