I just loaded quicktime and tried again. Now it simply skips over the .mov file entirely, no error message, no delay, it simply ignores it.

I can play an MOV file in XNView, but if I put one in a slide show, I get an error message that the file type is not recognized. Can I use an MOV file in a slideshow - and if so, can I center it in the screen?

Is there a way to get avi files to center on the screen when running a slide show? they squeeze into the upper left corner.
