I think it would be pretty nifty if the mouse-wheel (and the cursor keys) would scroll the picture you're viewing down/up and then would automatically go to the next/previous picture once the bottom/top has been reached.
Ofc this would optional.

Fit images wider than window?
I think that an Auto Image Size option that would only resize those images that are wider than the window (and not those that are only higher than it) would be a great addition, especially to whomever uses XnView for their comics browsing needs.
