Re: Move files from search with folder structure

It would be great if 'Copy to...' and 'Move to...' dialogs have a toggle 'Keep folder structure'.
Or add an option 'Copy only (do not convert)' to 'Batch convert' dialog.

Re: 1.9.5: File listling generator's CSV files are invalid

... have a quotation mark somewhere in the middle. Thankfully, I have an actual workaround. For the time being, I export the data as XML and then convert it to CSV using another tool. It's slow, but reliable.

Also, please bear in mind that until the issue is resolved, each time I recommend XnView ...

Re: Add animated AVIF support

+1 Would definitely appreciate!

Firefox/web and even Discord now support animated AVIF. (And FFmpeg will properly convert animated GIF to AVIF via libsvtav1.)

xnview wrote: Mon Nov 17, 2025 2:59 pm you have added sortScript=true in [Convert] section?
it works, but it should be there by default

imo, since user can/have-to name Presets - they should be AZ auto-sorted
in cases, where user cannot name data and data is history like, eg 'recent searches' - use 'used last' order

Re: Batch Convert - sort preset list

Thank you Pierre for the efforts so far.

Sadly the bug still exists , I tested XnConvert 1.106.0 and XnViewMP 1.9.5 on MacOS Sonoma 14.7.5.
I also edited ".xnconvert > xnconvert.ini" / "xnviewmp > xnview.ini" , adding the non-existing sortScript=true at the end, issue remained.

this is weird approach
better to add Presets functionality that will save all tool's settings, eg like in Batch convert

Text alignment breaks when “Outline” is enabled in XnConvert 1.106.0 (Linux Mint)

Hello,
I’m reporting a small issue that might help reproduce a text alignment bug in XnConvert.

I’m using XnConvert 1.106.0 - un*x x64 (Oct 12 2025) - Libformat 7.228 on Linux Mint.
Text alignment (Left / Center / Right) works correctly unless the “Outline” option is enabled.
When outline is active ...

yep, some adjustments are welcome
calculation
- revert calc to the one from 180 for RGB sliders in Enhance colors
Color balance in Batch convert works as expected

scale's UOM
- maybe change scales to % (w/o % indicator) for Brightness/Contrast, RGB, Hue , eg like in Affinity/Ps ...

... file, having joined the two files you could then try saving the combined file to a PDF, or alternatively you could try loading the files into Batch convert or XnConvert and then output to a PDF file, you might possibly need to experiment with the Output tab settings.

Converted images not using correct colors

Hi, I've been trying to use XnViewMP to mass convert HEIC files to PNG while keeping the metadata; however there's a a slight color difference between the original and final image. I have the "preserve color profile" box checked but there's still a difference. Using version 1.9.5, any help would be ...

I don't think that you should give up too easily when there may be a quite simple solution to your need!

Would you be able to provide a small number of representative TIFF files that I could run through my [very] draft batch conversion script, if necessary using a private download link sent ...
