I'm a 3d animator and to check my render tests (frame sequences, usually png fullhd) I used XnView classic, quick slideshow at 20ms delay. This setting guaranteed a 25fps playback (I don't know why not 50 fps if 1000ms / 20ms = 50, but ok, no matter, I could get 25fps and no need more).

I've tried with any PNG image and the result is the same.

Cases 1 & 2 occur intermittently and I cannot reproduce them.

Case 3 PNG image only occurs in v1.9.8; it did not occur in previous versions.

I can reproduce, caused by antialiasing zoom-in filters (all except bilinear)
however, no issues with same filters during zoom-out

XnView: MP 1.9.8 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 10 - 64bit

When a paletted 4-bit PNG is zoomed in, it turns into a series of stripes. Apparently, one column stretches across the entire width of the image.

ImageMagick command to create such images:
magick.exe input.png ...

It definitely occurs for the three file types I create from ComfyUI: .png, .mp4 and .mov.

I found this workaround:
If I use the Refresh function (F5) before assigning the rating, the rating is remembered.
