Why XnviewMP Fullscreen Info syntax is not compatible with Classic syntax? (I tried copy-paste, but it doesn't work).
How to migrate Classic settings to MP?

To reproduce:

1. Open [Settings] → [Shortcuts].
2. Select the action “Back”.
3. Activate the edit box next to “Custom” under “Shortcut for selected action”, and press Alt + Left ...

You could try doing an "update metadata" (in catalog settings).

If that doesn't help, then I suggest you do the following:

1. Exit the app
2. Make a backup copy of your xnview.db and thumb.db files
3. Start the app, and delete all the directories from the catalog: Tools->Settings:Catalog
4. Rescan ...

do you have always the problem? What do you have in Settings>View?


Sorry for the late reply, but I can no longer reproduce this bug. On the other hand, I still notice similar image distortions, but this time they don't go away, no matter what you do with the UI except switch to fullscreen mode or ...

if i use output jpg with same settings, embedded thumbnail is generated. Which input file do you use?

Funnily enough, the menus or the font in the directory tree are somewhat okay, but the settings menu, or any kind of labeling in the program, is much, much too small.

1. open Settings>Shortcuts
2. select any command
3. enter shortcut: right Alt +ANY_KEY
Ctrl +Alt+YOUR_KEY will be entered

Suggestion
add 'Apply zoom' checkbox (enabled by default) as child of 'Use transparency grid' setting in Settings>View
so Transparency grid could scale with image zoom (like in Aseprite)
