XnView Software

Hi,

I take it it's not possible to stretch an image over several screens in full screen mode like we can do in XnView Classic? At least there don't seem to be options for it in the settings. It would be great to get that function back.

No matter what I seem to do XnConvert will not remember the output, filename or format settings I select.

Every time I open the app I have to change them. This wasn't an issue when I was using Windows.

If I look at the contents of .xbs file I saved I can see all the settings are what I had set when ...

... not see rating that XnViewMP is set and when saving file it just updates rating to be 0 star.

p.s. In my Adobe Camera Raw settings i have option XMP embedded in DNG and update DNGpreview every time on save.

Do you mean me to check the boxes "delete" and "copy/move/rename". That makes sense, though it won't fix the problem ...

Beyond that, check that you have some settings correct:

... XnViewMP simply won't show it, as if it doesn't exist at all.

Setting “Recognize only by file extension” and “Scan file headers - Always” in the Settings has no effect; whether they are enabled or not, the result is always the same - the program refuses to open a JXL file with the wrong extension ...

there should be no colon at the end of labels that leads to input controls (textbox,combobox,etc)
eg unnecessary colon in

... the latest Mac version of XNView MP. I have both raw files and jpeg files in a folder. In the thumbnail pane, only the thumbnails for the jpegs are shown. The raw files just show a generic icon (see screenshot). I'm not sure if I have changed some settings? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

... up - do I need to dome some sort of initial "build all thumbnails" process? Everything is in one master folder and its subfolders. It's been years since I first installed the program, though always updated it when prompted.

Just checked settings on old systems and they mirror new system.
