I don't see any problems with understanding the auto-zoom options, naming is perfect.

My personnal setup (and I believe this should be the default) would be:

BTW I back up files nightly, so I might try restoring the files you mentioned. I'll also put a copy of them in a separate place, as you've suggested. After that I'll see what settings work best for me.

... You turned that on when messing with the custom filter, which you still have active. (see comment below).

To turn off the green arrow, go to Settings:File List:Custom Filter and deselect "Parent Folder". Or turn off the custom filter.

I've just looked at the settings/View/Filter, which was set to "Custom" not "like browser". Everything checkable under Settings/File List/ Custom Filter is checked. I haven't ...

... There's also a toolbar button for filter controls. If you set a custom filter, you must have found the setting in Setting:View:Filter and Settings:File List:Custom Filter, so you can go back there and adjust them to your taste.

It's a Mac Mini M4 so I assume that's Intel.

I downloaded the latest 1.106.0 DMG straight from the site and that seems to be saving the options on a restart.

I've tried the App Store version, and no problem. MacOS intel or ARM?

But if you have a context menu in Full Screen after scrolling through the video and back to the image, then we have completely contradictory results... Perhaps it somehow depends on the settings of the graphics card or even the OS?

I take it it's not possible to stretch an image over several screens in full screen mode like we can do in XnView Classic? At least there don't seem to be options for it in the settings. It would be great to get that function back.
