Tag and Compare functions
When I tag some files but only select ONE file, the "Compare" menu is disabled. But when I select more than one file (whether they are tagged or not), the "Compare" menu is enabled and the tagged files (not the selected files) can be compared. My point is: The "Compare" menu should be enabled when I...

Re: How to batch-convert files to the input directory?
How to batch-convert files to the input directory? I'm using 1.90 Alpha2. Try unselecting the new [ ]Keep subfolder structure- then a couple of old ways of using original folders should still work (no directory input, $, $/converted/) Thanks, it works. Can you tell me what "Keep subfolder structure...

Re: More enhancements about tags
Yes, but it's the tag feature... If you have some tagged files, so i use them, else i use selected files (If tag sytem doesn't work like that, i don't see any advantage to tag files????) Perhaps i can ask the user before any action? What do you think? Maybe show a dialog to tell the user at the fir...

How to batch-convert files to the input directory?
I use the batch convert function to resize files. I leave the output directory as empty. I load a script to setup the transformations. In my memories, if I leave the output directory as empty, the files will output to the input directory. But now, the files output to XnView install folder. How to ba...

Re: More enhancements about tags
1. Bigger tag box. The box is too small to be checked easily. look this thread: Tags: Position I'm discussing about the box size, but the thread discusses about the position. I think they are different. 2. Hotkey to tag/untag. Because of the small tag box, a hotkey to tag/untag would be useful. loo...

More enhancements about tags
The "tag" function is useful. :D But I think it could be better. Bigger tag box. The box is too small to be checked easily. Hotkey to tag/untag. Because of the small tag box, a hotkey to tag/untag would be useful. Show all tagged files. Maybe you can add an item in the drop-down filter menu to show ...

I can't try it out. Does anybody know why?
I choose to show archives in thumbnail mode.
When I double-click the archive, nothing happens.

Make sure "Browser -> File List -> Items Displayed -> Folders" is ALL checked. For thumbnails It works in Alpha2. "Browser -> File List -> Items Displayed -> Folders" should be checked for "Show as thumbnail". But there is one minor problem. Some portraits display as landscapes in folder's thumbnai...

Re: Some problems in Option's window.
This bug still exists in Alpha2.Nelson wrote: 3. In "Browser->Thumbnail->Appearance".
The "Use huge thumbnails" is always unchecked after I reopen the option window.

Hi. I've tried Alpha2, and it works fine. :D But there is one more thing missed. I choose to save all files (cache, bookmark, toolbar, settings) in XnView's folder, but the Wallpaper.bmp is still saved in %appdata%\XnView. Since I choose to save "other files" in XnView's folder, the Wallpaper.bmp sh...

From what I can see, in 1.90 Alpha1, in "Tools > Options > System integration" you can choose the location. There are the following folders: XnView, User, Windows. I think that is what you were looking for. No. I know that option and I've mentioned it in my previous post. What I'm talking about is ...

Re: Save relative files at XnView folder
The relative files (bookmark.ini, cache_thumb.db, and default.bar) are saved in %appdata%\xnView. I'd like to know is there a way to save them in the "XnView" folder ? (Like the xnview.ini, I can choose where to save it in the option window.) The current method is best for multi-user environments, ...

Re: Some problems in Option's window.
2. In "Browser->File List->Items displayed". There are two "Custom files" at the bottom. There should be only one, right? The idea is to allow both include and exclude functionality at the same time (which currently isn't possible with v.1.82.4). Thanks for answering. Then there should be some tips...
