didn't understood exactly the last sentence ...

If I click another tab (an image or browser) - I get (recently) back to the tab with the gif that rolls infinitely. The same behaviour with Ctrl+Tab.

When I'm viewing a large enough image I am able to press one of two toolbar buttons: Previous File / Next File - they are visible both. Wow! It seems like you even need no to rewrite the dialog. Just add a (visually separating) divider under windows std dialog and move buttons "Ok" and "Cancel" to the most bottom.

Surely you need no nothing of this really :)

Restoring selection after undo

When I crop a picture with Ctrl+Y, I often want to undo the operation. Okay, after undo my pic goes back, but the selection is lost and I should select it again (although I gonna shift selection with just several pixels).

I'd prefer to have the selection resurrected too.

I agree with JohnFredC's algorithm.
I, personally, have discovered that loseless rotation in menu Tools about several months after started to use xnview :^)

I always used Shift+R to rotate a pic. Today I found another, jpeg losseless rotation with Ctrl+Shift+R. But why not to use this loseless rotation by Shift+R too?
