The "Last use" choice in the drop-down list on the top is useful only if you run into multiple changes with same output. When resizing a single picture this doesn't work (and going to this drop-down is as painful as the other). You may also have to resize another picture during the ...
FYI the issue still exist in MP and I noticed it can be replicated with XnView Classic as well (latest version 2.49.2)
To replicate in Classic, apply the same settings as described for MP. Use whatever picture taken in portrait mode (EXIF:Orientation should be different than 1)
In the Image Resize dialog, the default option for Print Size is always Inch. Can this be linked to the setting in General > General > "Use Inch for print size"?

The issue with changing the rating in the View mode is inconsistent showing different behavior both in v0.88 and v0.90. It's a different ...
On top of this, I just noticed that changing the rating in the View mode doesn't save them. Back to the Browser the ratings are back to previous state.
In Browser and in Full Screen mode it's ok, values are saved.
Hi Cameron, I agree with tour recommendation, this is the way I use XnView for the reason you exposed. I wonder if you posted it in the wrong topic? This one is about a bug where the application forget to reset the orientation tag to 1. I explain how to reproduce.
