Additional note.
If you have Rating and Color label checked for the Browser mode, the rating icons will be visible also in View mode, no matter if Show Rating & Label color is unchecked in View mode settings.
Browser mode settings:
Settings > Thumbnail > Overlay icons > Rating

Opening Settings dialog automatically sets View > Show Rating & Label color to unchecked.

I found lnk under audio and removed it, now I can see shortcut files in both Viewer and Fullscreen mode.

XnView: MP 0.98.0 64bits
OS: Windows 10 Pro x64 Version 2004 19041.685
In Viewer and Fullscreen mode shortcut .lnk files of images are shown with a black screen and on the bottom of the screen there is the playbar of videos.
In Browser mode instead the thumbnail is generated correctly.

Is there a setting to disable the default Pan with Zoom behavior? Maybe in the .ini file?
