Re: Rename actions in batch processing
This doesnt make sense for me, I dont see a reason to have more than one list. Since you can enable/disable each single action in the list, it would make more sense to rename them. Currently, each resize action is called "resize". I would rather like them to be named "Resize to 1024x768" or "Resize ...

Re: Batch Resize
Don’t think so. I immediately got what I expected when I used the batch convert option to resize. However, this might be helpful:

Re: Match ANY/ALL setting for filtering categories
I just realized that the problem only exists if the second category I choose has sub-categories. Since I have to hold down the CTRL key in order to mark the second category, all subcategories are marked as well which leads to the described problem. I actively have to unmark the subcategories in orde...

Match ANY/ALL setting for filtering categories
It would be VERY helpful to enable the "Match any / Match all" filter option not only between rating and category, but also between different categories. Lets say I have a category "Black and White", and another one with "Nature". I could easily find all black and white nature pics. This is not poss...

Re: Problem with rating
Even if I erased all xml files, I could not get rid of the wrong rating. As shown in the screehshot I posted, obviously the FOLDER but not the files inside the folder were somehow rated as 5* in the database (although there was no 5* "logo above the folder). I could repair it by the following workar...

Re: Plugins
I tried it with several .heic files I found online, for example with the free example from here: https://www.online-convert.com/file-format/heic I copied the heif.dll in the /plugin folder. I also tried it by moving it to the XnViewMP program folder. Both attempts failed. I am using the XnViewMP ver...

Rename actions in batch processing
Hello,
It would be very helpful to rename different actions in the batch processing list. You could for example define several different resizing actions and name them:
Resize to 800*600
Resize to 1200*1080
--> Very easy to choose and activate the required action.

Re: Problem with rating
I think it is a bug. I could get rid of some wrong rated files by klicking "view/update calalog from files" und "view/update files from catalog." However, this only works for files. If there are FOLDERS that were marked as "5*", they stay forever as 5* and cant be changed back any more. When I erase...

Problem with rating
Hello, This is my first posting here. I am an underwater photographer and started to categorize my pics recently. XnView fulfills my needs perfectly, it is much much faster than Capture One and complements my workflow to perfection. Thanks for this excellent piece of software! However, I have the fo...
