Let me add a new post to let everyone know that this idea of the Commands manager simply is a MUST. Anybody who needs/likes/wants to customize their program can do it like nobody's business. I suggest you to take the trial of Total Commander and see how you can apply literally ANY command to ANY but...

Dear Mr. Claude, Thanks for the link: I never thought of searching for "commands" - I just browsed the list by sight... I appreciate the link and the explanations. I also appreciate the mannered courtesy! Total Commander really did something great with the command list (I tried it for evaluation, bu...

Batch Rename options

When using Batch Rename, the first item never gets a number. It starts out: Picture.jpg Picture_02.jpg Picture_03.jpg. I want to have Picture.jpg to be Picture_01.jpg. It would be nice also tobe able to exclude the underscore and use a space instead. Or I want to pad the numbers to go: 001 002

Copy/Move/Paste item to appear at end of Brower list

This is sort of related to the General Suggestion regarding custom sort order, but yet a bit different: When copying or pasting a file into the Browser window, it would be nice to have the option so that file can be made to appear *at the end* of the list OR in its alphabetical order. Right now it O...

Forward and Back Buttons! Well, I want those buttons too - but I have a normal mouse (two buttons and a wheel). I just want to be able to click the forward and back buttons to navigate the whole folder in the Browser window. Right now I have to go and click the folders in the treeview or else use th...

Custom Button Commands for EVERY Command

XnView has a list of commands that you can assign to custom buttons. But the command list is quite limited. It would be very much the wonderful thing if *EVERY* command was listed like in Total Commander. For instance, how about using the command for View_Show_Files_in_Subfolders ?? or enable/disabl...

Turn off "save changes" confirmation.

Wouldn't it be nice if, while you were browsing through photographs that you could click the rotate-clockwise button and then browse on to the next photo *without* having to click on that nagging "do you really want to save changes" dialogue box. There's no way to turn it off.

Thanks!

Yes, thanks!

Hey, I also want to add my compliments to the chef! Let me say that I have been using XnView now for about two weeks and I prefer it to the built in Windows viewer AND to Adobe Bridge! XnView is much faster than Bridge and can do more things and has better options for view settings. Thank you, Mr. X...

How do I view SVG, EPS, PDF files in File-view?

Can anyone help me with this EASY question? How do I view SVG, EPS, PDF files in File-view? I have adjusted the settings to allow me to see these (and other) files, but only as icons. SVG files seem to have only text for the preview. I assume it is because xnView just doesn't suppport viewing for th...
