Re: Process Files Based on Ratings

Thanks. What is the database if I want to make an ODBC link to it?

Save INI in XnView Folder Doesn't Work

Dear Pierre,
I can't get the option to save the INI file in the XnView folder to work. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit with my XnViewMP files in "C:\Program Files (x86)\XnViewMP"
Any ideas?
Thanks

Process Files Based on Ratings

Hi, I'd like to find a way to apply different file actions to a directory of files based on the ratings I have assigned. To make it a bit more challenging, I have RAW and JPG pairs, and only the JPG files get ratings, but I then need to process both related files. 1. Is there any way to do this dire...

"Open" Change of Behaviour

Pierre, About a year ago (I can't trace exactly when) the behaviour when opening a file in an external editor (using either F4 or the right-click options) changed slightly. Instead of loading the file into the editor and bringing that to the foreground, it now loads the file, but you have to manuall...

Re: Flexible Editor and Asscociated Program Settings

On a positive note, I've just discovered the hotkeys for the right-click editors in 1.97.2
This goes a long way to helping me sort out my editors
Thanks!

Re: Rating Hotkeys

Dear Pierre,
Any chance of getting ratings working with the normal 123 keys soon?
Many thanks,
Andrew

Re: Flexible Editor and Asscociated Program Settings

Dear Pierre, Glad to have you back and new versions of XnView coming through. It's still my front-end to all my image processing. Are you any nearer to implementing something like this suggestion? It's becoming a necessity for me as I now have to juggle two different versions of Bibble! Thanks Andre...

Re: Different Behaviour of Batch Processing

Dear Pierre,
Thanks. I've upgraded and got it working. There was also a oddity, that if I load the script from another directory, it doesn't check the tick box next to the script name. Once it's run once, and re-set the default script directory, it's fine.

Different Behaviour of Batch Processing

Hi. I have XnView 1.94.2 running on two machines. As far as I can see the settings are identical. I have a batch file to create small versions of JPEGS, which on the desktop (running Vista), puts the output files in a "small" subdirectory under the main image file directory, which is what I want. On...

Add Custom Thumbnail/Icon Sizes

Hi,
Is there any way to add a custom item to the list of thumbnail sizes on the View menu, e.g. via the INI file?
Thanks

Hi Pierre,
Did you manage to make these changes for 1.93.6, which I see you've just released, or are they on your "to do" list, which I'm sure is very long...

No problem if not, I'd just like to check.
Thanks
Andrew :)
