Unfortunately 1.953 doesn't change anything on my system.
You have always the black screen on the second monitor??
In the setup described above changing from jpg to avi the avi will never be shown on my second monitor, instead the screen stays black and XnView crashes when trying to continue ...

Ok, i can reproduce the black screen on avi, but not the crash. On fullscreen, you use previous/next file?

First: are we talking about the same thing? I have XnView (1.952) under XP SP3, left tree window, right thumbnail window.

but the files after date...is there a way to do this in XnView? I have zero control about folder dates, so they never appear in a useful way. But files must be sorted by date especially if you have them from several sources. This option (default in most file managers, see TC) would be nice for me to ...
