It's the same for the E420, you see it better in night shots:

The point is, for the E420, I did not have these problems in previous versions, though I can't remember exactly which ones.

I send you this ORF sample by mail.

Hello Pierre, Yes, if auto-refresh is not checked, it would be nive to have the window simply appear instantly on command. For me it would be nice to have that even if auto-refresh is enabled, because it takes some time for Xnview to generate an image based on parameters which we do not even see, be...

grey out cut images, copying process indicator

Hello, Would it be possible to give the user some feedback indicating whether after a ctrl+C or a Ctrl+V press, the images have been copied/cut or not? On windows images and folders are greyed out when cut, this makes the user confident that the cut has been recorded. On XnView I often wonder whethe...

progressive preview for big images

Hello, I don't know if this has been suggested somewhere else in another topic, but anyway, I did not find it: For big files, it would be nice to have a progressive preview of it. For Raws (if full-res) and big TIFFs, for example, it always takes a long time after double-clicking on the thumb until ...

color space info lost

This is a new problem but the topic title would be exactly the same: In 1.95.4, I have a TIFF which XV says it is in adobeRGB. If exported or saved as, the resulting images do not display the color space information anymore in the properties tab, although they keep the correct color space. And if co...

The slider would replace both the + and - buttons, so we would have more space. I'd like to report that the mouse wheel scroll (with my trackpad) only works for zooming in on the first time. As soon as I release the pressure, subsequent mouse scrolling only moves the picture up and down. My settings...

I've just had a look at the preferences like a normal user would. Well I think he never would find the "show only basic options" for the preferences. I just did not find it, maybe I'm just dumb but that should be representative for other users (in the sense that they don't find it!). In addition to ...

Well, batch is already implemented with the Ctrl+U shortcut. Simply select TIFF output format, go to transformations, choose CONVERT>convert to greyscale.

Until now the usability of the export tool with respect to my suggestions has not changed in the latest version.

"easy mode" for preferences

Xnview, like VLC, is a very complete and sophisticated software. In VLC they implemented an "easy mode" for setting preferences, as most users don't need to look at most of the settings. The preferences in XV, even after years of using, don't appear logical and well-organised to me. A positive effec...
