This happens because of filter opt
I see this all the time
the 1 'missing' thumb is something that later it decides should NOT be shown in thumb view
usually as 'all other files' setting

Fragmented db files?!

The db files are greatly fragmented. My cat db is 300kb but has 100 fragments
the cache db is 50mb and has 1500 fragments.

:? could you pre-allocate space for these to save such trouble?

you can't search as a guest. This is what the topic is about. Log out and try it before going after someone. if I hadn't used Bugmenot for this forum for a few weeks and found it useful, I wouldn't have signed up. and neither will many guests who have now little access. Most will post their bug once...

browser mode->fullscreen, it's 100%

noticed 2 things more
1- movie mode can't see cursor, thus can't use controls
2- browser mode->viewer then pgup/down only shows 1 movie in folder, jumps to jpgs after

Yes raw files are supported in Windows by the MS Raw codecs  why do enable thumbnails view mode in explorer ? Have you ever used PS or any other program or even a web browser? When you browse for a file, it's using explorer to show thumbnails. Because I want to use explorer as well as XnView ....

yes, but then every time you open a folder of 100 RAWs you'd have to wait 2min for thumbs!

Can't hide .db files

thumb mode, adding DB to custom files as part of "HTM HTML MHT MHTML XML XHTML EML NWS URL DB"

uncheck all

thumbs.db still shown in thumb mode
due to 2 letter ext? :bugconfirmed:

Re: Awesome

ccollomb wrote:> Please try XnView 1.96 beta

I did and it work perfectly for me with XP SP3. I only replaced the old .exe and manifest and I am not experiencing the issues mentioned above.
think you need to replace the dll and support files too, not just the exe :P

no, raw changing is done by free 3rd party stuff like exiftool
wouldn't want to add such complex stuff to a viewer.

well clearly we need boolean cat/iptc search function!
this is just a hack
and is depending on keeping sql db type in future!
