Re: Opening RW2 from file explorer

Now find a JPG file and right click it then "Open with"
If XnVuew is not in the list choose another app
Then go to program files and drill down into the XnView folder and choose the correct EXE file and you should be good to go
Make sure you checked "Always open with" on the way in

Re: Add "close other tabs" keyboard shortcut (or button, command)

+1
I'd hate to have to list all the times I am working and then notice I have multiple viewer tabs open  I would USE a shortcut and / or a button to close all but the one I am viewing
Thanks

It seems I got the file associations set up right so it should open. I can't see any preferences affecting this. Is it something I've set wrong or just a bug?
If you need help with the registry, please post back. Someone can help you with deleting the RW2 key

Re: [Help] "close other tabs" command ?

There is not a close other tabs option as far as I know but there is a close other tabs by right clicking on any tab
Then there is a close button on any image in view mode plus control + W closes the tab you are in

Re: Preserve CMYK ICC profile in converted files

Naty CMYK is only really useful when getting things ready for a printer. You often can't tell the difference between the color spaces on your monitor In a file viewing program like XnView it isn't really needed even though it has the ability to define a CMYK color space If you are printing a pantone...
