Re: 0.85: high-quality zoom remains disabled after re-enabling it

... Edit: I'm so sorry. I forgot that I uninstalled 0.85 due to gif animations not working and I'm still using 0.84, not 0.85 as the bug report mistakenly says. Probably you can't reproduce the bug because 0.85 has it fixed (hopefully). Moderators, feel free to delete this thread, and sorry for was...

Re: 0.85: high-quality zoom remains disabled after re-enabling it

I just tried to reproduce the problem but failed (same configuration as yours, i.e. XnView MP 0.85 64bit, Windows 7 64 bit). Could you please describe your steps in some more detail? Do you use "Never" (span.: "Nunca") for disabling high quality zoom? Could you perhaps capture an...

Re: 0.85 Linux: crash after file(s) are deleted

Thank you very much, pangwolin, for the detailed bug report and the log and trace files. This will help Pierre to track down and solve the problem. Depending on frequency and probability of the problem (crash) this should handled as a must fix for the next release. Are your PNG files normal or rathe...

Re: 0.85: *.jpg_original files after editing metadata

settings>General>File operations>lossless transformations (but currently doesn't if exiftool is used) Many posts but little info. :? The setting you mention is for JPEG lossless transformation. But is there a setting that allows a user to enable/disable the creation of files by the EXIF tool? Could...

Re: 0.85: *.jpg_original files after editing metadata

these files are created by ExifTool as a backup O.k., that confirms the assumption. From the user perspective there is XnView MP, only, and it looks as if XnView MP creates these files. I much doubt that these files are wanted by users. Is there a way to surpress these backup files? yes, but only i...

Good to read that this was fixed.

@cday: Thank you for your explanation on "bitness". This helps to understand things better. :)

Re: 0.85: *.jpg_original files after editing metadata

After browsing search results for "jpg_original" and the above descriptions it's pretty sure that these files are created by Exiftool.

@Pierre: In which detailed scenario are these file created? Are these files of some use for the XnView user? Is there a way to surpress these files?

Very good that you found the reason for the problem (Microsofts OneDrive), Fritzle! Let's see whether Pierre can do something about this.

Re: 0.85: Deleted file is kept in View mode

Thank you for this detailed bug report, HanVroon. I could easily reproduce your problem. Your expected behaviour is that XnView navigates to the next existing file as long as there is at least one file in the folder, right?

Re: 0.85: Moving a folder on itself in Detail View.

I can confirm. In most views you get a "Forbidden" cursor but in "Detail view" and "Thumbnails + Details" you can drag&drop with the observed (wrong) behaviour.
