Re: shortcut key Ctrl+shift+0 doesn't work
in browser mode? For me, it's in browser and viewer mode - but only on 2 of my 3 machines. It's not only depending on keyboard layout/language, as all machines have the same, but I guess it is something in this direction. On 1 machine (Win 7), default works fine. On 2nd machine (Win 7), default doe...

Re: How to define xnview as default program for scanner button
But I have many hundreds of pictures, and I want to be able to open that location on my cell phone, but XnView will only allow me to open pictures on my C: Drive. It does "see" my cell phone, and it "sees" the different directories on my cell phone. But it will not open a directory of images on my ...

Re: workaround the dumb forum search
Welcome back, GeorgD :D Thank you :) With XnView classic that "just worked", I simply had no need to be here ;) but as XnView MP offers some cool new features like rating & color tags but is still a beta, I'm here more often again :) I've just added Google Site Search to the forum's “ Advanced sear...

Improve wording of buttons "cancel" and "Abort"
Several dialogs have "not so helpful" button names, e.g. in v0.68 1) when "Edit IPTC-IIM/XMP" or "Batch Convert" already finished the action, the button "cancel" is odd, I always think "hu, what happened? I thought it did it finish but there's cancel?". Suggestion: Rename to close, that's fine befor...

Add "Format settings" in settings dialog
Suggestion for v0.68: In F12/settings add a link to or integrate "Menubar > File > Format settings". I did search all the settings for JPEG quality settings and did not find them and was quite irritated, and found the locations weeks later by coincidence - not very satisfying... Arguments for the su...

Shortcut list: Change names for crop and lossless crop
In Options > Interface > Shortcuts > View Mode, the two items "Crop" and "Crop..." seem to be "lossless crop" (cmd_lcrop) and "crop" (cmd_crop) - a clearer naming would be helpful to distinguish the two operations by item name, e.g. "Crop (lossless)" and "Crop..."

Small window size / was: Re: Why is there this problem, whic
You start XnViewMP, maximize it, quit, and when you restart it's no more maximized?? On the contrary, it is. My sequence: I start XnViewMP, resize it (e.g. to 3/4 of the screen), maximize it, close it, restart it (it is maximized), un-maximize it and then it's in most cases as big as I made it last...

XnView & XnViewMp works in the same way. Hm, here, they seem not to work the same way. Here's what I do: Source files & directories (result of dir /s/b ) C:\tmp\sourceParent C:\tmp\sourceParent\child1 C:\tmp\sourceParent\child2 C:\tmp\sourceParent\child1\Aus dem letzten Jahrhundert.jpg C:\tmp\sourc...

Re: 0.51 Win7 x64: keep folder structure doesn't work
I tried batch convert in v0.64 and ran in troubles, searched the forum and found this thread. My use case and expectation is what isildur described in 2.1 (XnView classic behaves this way). My use case is simple: I have a folder "Photo Collection" that contains sub-folders for each travel, event etc...
