Delete all in Catalog settings

...doesn't work at all. You have to click on each line and individually delete it.

Re: Remapping keyboard shortcuts

Oh I can see what you mean. I had no idea there were two separate groups of shortcuts.
Maybe you could separate them in two tabs (inside the Shortcuts main tab)rather than in one long list then? I think it would make it a lot less confusing.

Re: Remapping keyboard shortcuts

Basically what I believe is happening is even though I remapped the "/" key from the default "Fit image to window" to "large only", the change is not acknowledged by the program, making it do the original action instead.

Re: Remapping keyboard shortcuts

Let me show you a screenshot, it might explain better.

I suspect this is part of the reason why image size I keep setting gets randomly reset.

Remapping keyboard shortcuts

I changed the association for "/" key from "Fit image to window" to "Fit image to window, large only", but when I press the button and open the "auto image size" dropdown menu, the old "fit image to window" is selected instead. The key also shows next to that one.

Re: I switched to MP recently and need some help

So of all the things I mentioned it's just the zoom level (aside from the drag thing which might be a bug) that's still annoying me. this one? The program doesn't seem to remember the last zoom level used if you press * (100%) upon opening another image (possibly because 100% is missing from the au...

Re: Auto image size

MAYBE.I think so. I mean the menus start to get a bit confusing after digging in them for a while :P But making Xn remember last zoom level is probably more useful. I tried experimenting with the auto zoom level and "lock zoom" feature, but it was no use. I don't think it even remembers the locked z...

Re: I switched to MP recently and need some help

Ok I understand now. But it's still horribly complicated :P Worst part is it makes no sense without any help at all, so completely new users like myself have no chance of figuring it out by themselves. So of all the things I mentioned it's just the zoom level (aside from the drag thing which might b...

The dropdown menu called "Auto image size". I think it's even in the toolbar by default.

Re: I switched to MP recently and need some help

3) It's not related to EXIF 3) Depends I also just found out you need an argument in front of, and inside brackets for these for it to work... Example: {Creation Date [Y]}-## This will rename by Exif year with a counter 2010-01, 2010-02 That's too complicated for me to understand. Also, I repeat: w...

Auto image size

Could you add 100% zoom into Auto image size? OR alternatively make the program remember the last zoom level used?

Re: I switched to MP recently and need some help

Hello: 2) General/General/Startup ( Untick Fullscreen when starting) 3) I haven't tried this lately, but usually worked for me. (Are you sure the variable your choosing has data attached to it in the exif ) Maybe you can try the same var in the tooltip or fullscreen info to see that it has data in ...

Re: I switched to MP recently and need some help

For 2), I don't think it's relevant to my problem. What I'm talking about is the mode XnView opens in when I open an image directly from Windows explorer by double clicking on it. I don't want the image to open in fullscreen mode, but I couldn't figure out whether it's even possible. For 3), yes, I ...
