Only half way fixed. :? Please check, if it is possible to adjust the filmstrip hight according the total hight of thumbnail + details. 1st half: Now I can manually adjust the height, which wasn't possible before. I have to increase it when I add details, and to decrease it when I remove details. 2n...

RC3:Center image in TotalCommander pane
Since v1.80RC1 I use xnView as image viewer with TotalCommander.
With the TC built-in QuickView it is possible to view an image in one pane.
Therefore I like to suggest an option to center the shown image horizontally and vertically in the pane (like it is possible with the Imagine plugin).

"View As" and Layouts are two completely different features. You can't get the Filmstrip layout or any layout by using "View As" or F9. Yes, that's like it should be - but it isn't :!: When I'm in layout=6 (filmstrip) and press <F9> or leftclick on "View as", the layout immidiatly changes to =4. No...

"View as" & filmstrip layout
Each time you leftclick the "View as" icon, the view is pushed to the next list entry of the ComboBox. :bug: The first list entry seems to be the actually selected thumbnail view. I don't know exactly because the list is invisible. In my case it's the Filmstrip layout. When I step through the whole ...

But certainly make that an option, if implemented. Nothing else ... I guess, this is the reason (and really reasonable) why xnview doesn't show first thumbnail as preview at start... ... therefore it should be an option ... :P Lesmo, you can just press any arrow at start... Sure I can - but ...

... it seems to sensibly speed up thumbnail display in not-yet cached folders (just a feeling - i haven't scientifically timed this yet). Yes, I also found a sensibly speed-up, but there must be a drastically speed-up. Pierre announced a 10 times faster thumbnail reading speed. Unfortunately I can'...

REQ: Show first thumbnail as preview
I like to suggest an additional option:
"Show first thumbnail as preview", which means that the first image of the active folder will be shown as preview.
I personally would like that behaviour by default, but perhaps other users won't like it - therefore the option.

Re: RC2: Default setting: EXIF auto rotation
No problems with this great feature!helmut wrote:What do other people think? Did/do people here encounter problems when activating this setting?

IMO the thumbnail option "Use embedded thumbnails" should also be activated by default.

1. The photo's height is bigger than it's width. - So, it should "stands up". 2. The Preview panel shows correctly. - That is, it stands up. 3. But the thumbnail doesn't. - It lies down. @ nelson : If I got you right ... 1. is a portrait 2. preview is fine 3. thumb isn't automatically rotated You h...
