What about PhotoFiltre? Also freeware from France and just 1.5MB!
is that a plug in for xnview or stand alone software? i allready have adobe, corel paint shop pro etc...

in browser (when image is doulble clicked as thumbnail) there is no right click "copy" option. user must click on "edit, copy"

i checked the "use registry to save options" in the install menu screen, rebooted and lag is now gone. i dont know why saving to registry would be so much faster than saving the "ini" file in xnview or windows folder... thank you for your replies. dan

read ahead was checked. i unchecked it, closed the viewer, reopened xnview but still slow. the viewer is even slow when opening up options and moving through them. i have "high quality thumbnails off also. this problem also exist in the older version i had "1.60" which never gave me troubles before....

yes i have tried version 1.82 and it still takes a few seconds to open and display pics. even the clip art images take a few seconds to open. i have tried several settings of the cache, used "win.ini" "registry" to save settings, but it also does not help. this also happens when i revert back to ver...

Video slow motion support

In earlier versions of XnView, when viewing a avi or mpeg, there was an option of selecting the playback speed. Will this option be available in future releases? I wish I would have kept a version that used the different video player, I think 1.60 was the last to use the slow speed control.

with version 1.80, when selecting 4 images, I have the dimensions set at 800 x 600, margins 10 pixels x 10 pixels, in 2 columns and 2 rows, spacing 20 pixels x 20 pixels, but when i click on create contact sheet, the images are very small. in XnView v1.74 and all earlier versions the above settings ...

Do I need to "create" a folder named "pluginsex" within xnview?
