0.82 x32: Crashes often (because of x3f files ?)

Libformat version 6.91

Using XnView on Linux Mint:

Problem: it seems to crash whenever it finds files taht it doesn't like.

I cannot delete everything from disk... just because XnView doesn#t like it. So hopefully you can fix this.
BTW: Tried latest version as well, also some of the 0.7x series ... same behaviour.
