0.89: Favorites not immediately sorted

Post by MikeD »

XnView: MP 0.89 64 bit

OS: Windows 64bit

When a folder is added to the Favorites pane, it's placed at the bottom of the list. It doesn't get sorted into its alphabetic position until the program is restarted.

Effect: Time wasted trying to find out how to organize Favorites. (This Classic feature isn't available in MP, but this doesn't bother me. I wouldn't have even looked for it if the entry had gone into its correct position.)

To reproduce:
1. In Browser 'Folders' pane, right click a folder and choose 'Add to favorites'.
2. In dialog, edit name as required.

Actual behaviour (bug): New entry placed at bottom of list.

Expected behaviour: New entry placed in sorted position.

Additional comment: On 3 or 4 occasions, the folder referenced by a new entry changed to the root of the C: or D: drive. The name displayed in the Favorites pane was still as entered. I haven't found how to reproduce this problem.
