Up front... I know... it is my mistake.
I know...
However, I am making the mistake over and over again and get frustrated about my own mistakes,
I would like to ask whether there is a solution for the following:
when in XnViewMP browser, double clicking an image, it will open.
then I always click on the wrong button to close it (right hand top corner), thus closing XnViewMP.
I have to relaunch XnViewMP again.
Next time I again, without thinking, close the right hand top corner [X] button...
Is there a way that XnViewMP asks whether I wish to close all tabs?
(Similar to default settings of most browsers)
So I can hit the Esc or Cancel key then.
Thanks.

Re: Open en close XnViewMP
if settings>General>Save session on program exit is 'Ask', you'll have a confirmation dialog
Pierre.

Ah .. right!
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
Re: Open en close XnViewMP
I tried this a few times. No luck.
Getting the pop window, but no matter what I click/select, XnViewMP closes anyway, my idea is to keep it running.

Re: Open en close XnViewMP
Yes, that is the idea. Again, it is my mistake.. but it would be nice if XnViewMP ask whether I want to close, then I click on 'No' or hit 'Esc' so I can continiue with XnViewMP, instead of having to re-launch again.
Re: Open en close XnViewMP
This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.91. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
Pierre.
Re: Open en close XnViewMP
Tested with 0.91 beta 4.
When one or more images are open, the program asks to quit when clicking on the X.
And the answer can be remembered as default (never ask again), which is great
