Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, XnView MP v0.98.0 64-bit
Current behavior :
Attempting to open the batch converter with at least one Animated GIF selected results in an immediate crash.
How to reproduce:
1. Go to XnView MP browser mode
2. Select any amount of files including at least one Animated GIF, or simply one Animated GIF
3. Attempt to open the Batch converter
4. XnView MP crashes immediately
Expected behavior :
XnView MP should display a warning message that "Writing of Animated GIF currently not supported!"

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.98.1. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

I'm happy to confirm that also this issue is fixed in v0.98.1. Loading an animated GIF into the batch converter will now convert the first frame to the selected target format.
It would be great if you could add support for converting all frames of an animated GIF, and perhaps write support for animated GIF. There is already similar functionality available in supporting multipage images.
Regardless of your development plans and decisions regarding my suggestions above, again please accept my thanks for all your efforts and ongoing dedication.
