Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, XnView MP v0.98.0 64-bit
Current behavior:
Draw a selection with the left mouse button, with no additional keys/mouse-buttons pressed. Now pressing the CTRL-key before releasing the left mouse button the image is unexpectedly zoomed in to the current selection.
Note that I have no action assigned either to "Left Mouse-Button + CTRL" or "Right Mouse-Button + CTRL".
How to reproduce:
1. Open any image either in Fullscreen or View mode
2. Draw a selection with the left mouse button, no additional keys or mouse-buttons are pressed
3. Before releasing the left mouse button to finish the selection press and hold down the CTRL-key, then release the left mouse button
4. The image unexpectedly is zoomed in to the current selection
Expected behavior:
XnView MP should not perform an unexpected zoom-in on the image under the described conditions.
EDIT: Updated step 3 of the "How to reproduce" section to make it more clear.

Re: 0.98.0: Unexpected zoom behavior of selection function
I actually used this as a feature. Is there still a way to create a selection and immediately zoom in without having to press a button for "zoom selection"?

Nevermind I already figured out I can still do it using the third mouse button.
