Shell Extention to Convert to PDF - no control on SETTINGS

Post by mif99 »

Hi,
I was looking for a quick way to convert TIFF to PDF via the shell command (right-click filename)
The main XNVIEW program works well - but when I try it through the Shell > CONVERT it doesn't allow me to access the SETTINGS button.
The result is a 750kb TIFF becomes a 4Mb PDF, whereas within XNVIEW the PDF is a lot smaller.
There is a RESIZE option under CONVERT, but this still won't give me an A4 size below 4Mb
Hope you can help!
Cheers,
Eddie

Hi all,

I have the same problem (pdf output growing too big) using the NConvert command line function. Is this "PDF setting" also available there (ie. -out pdf xxxx)?

Thanks.
