Two settings for more Privacy

For easier usage, XnView keeps track of your last visited directories and most recent files. Below you will find some settings to have more privacy.

Most recently used lists
XnView has a list of the most recently used folders and the most recently opened image files. You can purge these lists by:
1.) Select menu "Tools > Options...", category "Interface", tab "Interface".
2.) In "Recent lists" panel activate checkbox "Purge 'Most recently Used Files & Directories' on exit"
3.) Confirm the option changes with "OK" button

Start-up directory
By default the XnView browser starts up in the last recently used directory. To change this you:
1.) Select menu "Tools > Options...", category "General", tab "Operations".
2.) For "Startup directory" choose option "Specified". Then enter a valid directory or choose one using the 3-dot button (e.g. C:\).
3.) Confirm the option changes with "OK" button.
